The first shot in the film Aileen is a follow shot, it has a voice over. As the film continues it shows policing footage which shows Aileen admitting to the murders, the footage is mainly old and is from police video's, takl shows and TV footage, this creates the feeling of the past making the audience feel more involved, as it is old films it shows the true motions of people involved instead of future emotions when somethings may have been forgotten.
The sound is very clear and produces a live feel, but is followed through with voice overs by the director with informations such as, who is involved, the background story, and where the director is continuing the stroy from.

Woman Who Killed 6 Is Executed in Florida
Aileen Wuornos, a hitchhiking prostitute who killed six men along Florida highways, was executed by injection today after dropping her appeals and firing her lawyers.
Ms. Wuornos, 46, became the 10th woman executed in the United States since capital punishment resumed in 1977. Oklahoma has put three women to death; Florida and Texas have executed two each.
In her final statement, Ms. Wuornos referred to Jesus and a blockbuster movie.
''I'll be back like 'Independence Day' with Jesus, June 6, like the movie, big mother ship and all,'' Ms. Wuornos said. ''I'll be back.''
The execution had been delayed while experts evaluated her mental health. Gov. Jeb Bush lifted his stay last week after three psychiatrists concluded that Ms. Wuornos was competent to choose execution.
Ms. Wuornos shot to death at least six middle-age men in 1989 and 1990. Her story has been portrayed in two movies, three books and an opera.

At a hearing in July, Ms. Wuornos told a judge she was ''sick of hearing this 'she's crazy' stuff.''
''I'm competent, sane and I'm telling the truth,'' she said.
She had told the State Supreme Court that she would kill again.
Ms. Wuornos's death sentence was for her first killing, of Richard Mallory, an electronics shop owner. She later pleaded no contest to five other murders.
She spent Tuesday night with a childhood friend, Dawn Botkins, who said Ms. Wuornos was in a good mood, laughing a lot.
''She was looking forward to being home with God and getting off this earth,'' Ms. Botkins said, adding that Ms. Wuornos prayed that the souls of the men she killed would be saved by her death.
Terri Griffith, whose father was killed by Ms. Wuornos, said: ''I'm glad it's over. It was an easy death. It was a little bit too easy. I think she should have suffered a little bit more. She was off her rocker.''
My Views.
My feeling towards Aileen are mixed , i feel like although she did something wrong, she also did alot to make it right, i think that she shouldnt have had a sentencer that was so harsh but something that would make her feel the straibn and feel sorry for all those that she has hurt. I think that Nick Broomfield showed the side of Aileen that he believed she was and not the side that many thought of her, i think that in some sections he does not show the full side of her and he is slightly biased towards her. overall i think that she should have recieved the death sentanced as this was not the first serious crime that she had commited.
